In the midst of a season dominated by vibrant neons and pastels, I've surprised myself by pinning a lot of neutral looks onto my Fashion Inspiration board lately. Just goes to show that no matter when or where, classic black is always a chic choice. These girls (above) exude such a laid-back sense of cool and make it look so easy! I'm definitely keeping these looks in my inspiration file for those days when I just don't know what to wear. I already own some great black basics, but I've been on the look-out for a pair of cat-eye sunglasses for a while now, to make the combo complete. These ones and these ones are my favorites, but I've tried on this pair at Target a couple of times, and quite honestly, they're hard to resist for just $16.99!
Of course it's ideal to always have fun and be creative with fashion, but I'm a big advocate of having a "uniform" in your arsenal. What's your go-to look when you need to look chic?
